How to Embed PDF, DOC, XLS, PPT Files in Blogger Post

Always bloggers choose their blogging path with Blogger.com which is free service form Google company. They don’t charge anything for this service. But in Blogger there are some lacks too when comparing with other blogging services like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla and more. These services has lots of inbuilt features but they can’t be found in Blogger. But there are many alternative methods to use all those feature in Blogger platform too. Likewise here I’m with another thing which we’re going to guide about Embedding PDF, DOC, XLS Files Into Blogger.

How to Embed PDF, DOC, XLS, PPT Files in Blogger Post

Earlier I’ve shared many post on Embedding in Blogger Now its time for PDF, DOC, XLS Files to be shown up in your Blogger posts. So this feature is already offered with WordPress service, hope so! But not in Blogger platform. So to add any files like PDF, DOC, XLS you can follow this method. All we’re going to use is Google Drive for uploading files and then we’re going to embed the uploaded files.

As everyone knows before, Google Drive is cloud storage and a product from Google. Here the users upload their files and store them online. So by using this service we’ve took some advantages to help our side too. Lets check out Embedding PDF, DOC, XLS, PPT File in Blogger.

Method 1 :-

Step 1: Go to drive.google.com.

Step 2: Then click on Upload icon to upload your file. Once the upload finished just right click on that uploaded file and choose Share OR check the video added below.

Step 3: In the pop-up window, change the file permission just click on Change under Private wing.

Step 4: Then in the next windows i.e, Sharing Settings, click on “Anyone with the link” & click the Save.

Step 5: Now Copy the file link and replace it with the link found in the below script,

Step 6: Once you replace it just copy the scripts and add it on your post by navigating to Blogger >> New Post >> HTML section. That’s it!

Method 2:-

The second method is just like the above method. But here we’re going to use Google Drive itself to embed your file. So do all steps as like in Method 1 and in step 5 just you need to open the uploaded file. It will be opened in new tab and at the top you can find More action. Just Click it and choose Embed item. Then copy the script and so same as step 6 in Method 1. That’s it!
