How to Open Mobile Websites on PC/Desktop Browsers

As my previous post is about on Mobile Friendly, now I’m going to share another one trick to check Mobile Websites on Desktop Browser. We use different sites for different purpose daily and most of them will be in desktop version. But some sites are designed only for desktop. So you can check them only on Mobiles browsers, not on PC browsers. In other words, they are compatible for desktop browsers.

So if you’re facing this issue, then it can be solved right now! Now with this trick you can open mobile version sites in desktop. So what to do? Whether it is possible to view mobile sites in PC browsers? How? The questions can be lined up, but the only answer will be “YES”.

Here in this post, I’m going to share 2 methods to check mobile version sites in desktop browsers. It can be done only on Google Chrome & Mozilla Firefox browser.

Methods to Open Mobile Websites on PC

To view on Chrome Users

Download User Agent Switcher Extension form chrome store.[Link]

Just install it on your browser and once you finish a small icon will be shown on browser address bar.

Now click that User Agent icon and select any one of the mobile User Agent.

Then try to open any mobile websites and that site will be opened in mobile site mode on your desktop. That’s it!

To view on Mozilla Firefox Users

Run the Mozilla browser in your desktop and go to Add-ons page or go directly here to download & install User Agent. [Link]

Install it and when it prompts a dialogue box with tool name. Just click it and install it on your browser.

Then re-open your browser and navigate to Tool and find Default User Agent Switcher.

Click it and select iPhone and change the user agent of the browser. That’s it!

Then try to open any mobile websites and that site will be opened in mobile site mode on your desktop. That’s it!

Alternative Way 😀

If you don’t like the above method, then go for Opera Mini Simulator method to browse and surf mobile websites in your desktop browsers. The only purpose of using Simulator is just to check the site. But we can change the rule to check the mobile websites too 😛 If you wanna try this method, then go through the below section of this post,

First go to Opera Mini Simulator page.

Then it will ask you to give permission to run java objects in your browser.

Just click the allow button and run Opera Mini Simulator.

Now try to open any mobile websites and that site will be opened in mobile site mode on your desktop. That’s it!
