How to use Google Chrome as your Default PDF reader [Alternative]

Most of the people are storing their data and information in documentary files. The document files includes Word, PDF and more. Among various types of file formats, PDF is an old thing and the most popular one. You can find various tools for reading and for editing PDF files simply. You can also find tools only for reading PDF files. Adobe reader, Foxit PDF tools are the well know ones.I’m not here to share these tools, but to share about using Google Chrome as an alternative for PDF reader.

Google Chrome browser is an well know product from Google company. You can find many tweaks and tricks for chrome browser. Among those tweaks, you can find this trick or method there. Hope you got an clear idea about it. Let’s see hope to use Google Chrome browser for reading PDF files.

Step 1: If you don’t have Google Chrome then download and install it on your system.

Step 2: Then choose the PDF file by right clicking it and choose Open With…
Step 3: In that new window, choose Google chrome as your PDF reader and make it default if you like it.

Step 4: If you can’t find chrome icon, then click the Browse button and search for chrome & go ahead as same mentioned above.

Step 5: That’s it! You can view your PDF files on Google Chrome, which means you are using Google chrome as an PDF reader. Enjoy!!
