For this case also, Google also has offered Webmaster Tools. But, you need to verify your blog with those Webmaster for quick index and to show your blog in search engine results. This verification can be done by using the HTML Tags. You can also ownership your blog by using Google Analytics, Meta Tags and more.

Now, in this tutorial I’ll show you How to Verify your Blog/Site using Google Tags. You may heard about Google Tags. This online tool will allow you to track your blog/websites easily from one place. By the way, this method is also offered by Google. This will help your blog to verify your ownership easily. For verifying your blog you just need some times only. Here, the tutorial starts.

How to Generate Verification codes using Google Tags Manager

Step 1: Visit Google Tag Manager and Sign Up with your Google Account.

Step 2: In the next step, just Give one Account Name and click the Next button.

Step 3: Now here, just give a short Descritpion about your blog in the Container Name. And in the next line Choose your Country and Time Zone. Finally, Click the Add Domain and add your Blog/Website Address. Then Click the Next button and go Ahead.

Step 4: Then in this step you need to read the Google Privacy Policy. After reading it just Click the I Accept Button and go ahead.

Step 5: In the next page your verification code will be generated. Kindly, copy those Generated codes in Notepad. We will use it later. And don’t close the Google Tag Manager window.

That’s it! You have successfully generated a verification code for your blog by using Googl Tags. Now you need to add these verification code in your blog/website. Here, below I have described some steps to add those codes in Blogger.

Step 1: Go to Blogger > Template > Edit HTML.

Step 2: Then, press Ctrl + F key in your keyboard and then search for </head> tag.

Step 3: After finding those tags just paste the below code just below/after </head> tag.

Step 4: Then hit the Save Template button.

Step 5: Now, Again go to Google Tag Manager page and Click the I’ll Add Tags Later button.

Step 2: Then choose the verification method and select Google Tag Manager.

Step 3: Then in this step, just click the Verify button.
